Taking Teeks to Soho Basin in the South Island of New Zealand for his Esquire cover story was truly a once-in-a-lifetime shoot. With snow cats as our only transport — and doubling as a makeshift dressing room — the small crew was incredibly overwhelmed by the unique experience. The isolation of the Southern New Zealand landscape provided a perfect minimalist backdrop, allowing Teeks' incredible stillness and soulful presence to take centre stage. It was one of those shoots where everything aligned naturally, and the environment became an extension of the talent and their essence. Grant Pearce, the fashion director for Esquire and Harper’s Bazaar, blending luxury with landscape seamlessly.
